                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
                   CLERK OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO PUBLISH A
                   NOTICE RELATIVE TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
                   OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE GEORGETOWN TRACE
                   SUBDIVISION, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN, LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT
                   CORPORATE LIMITS, AS REQUESTED BY WILLIAM C.
                   HAISTEN, SR., SAID PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD
                   ON MAY 25, 1993, AT 6:00 P.M.
                  
                   
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Clerk of the City Council be and 

       is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice relative to 

       the proposed annexation of certain property in the Georgetown
       Trace Subdivision, more particularly described in the legal
       description and map attached hereto and incorporated herein by
       reference, lying contiguous to the present corporate limits, as
       requested by William C. Haisten, Sr., said public hearing to be
       held on May 25, 1993, at 6:00 p.m.
